This student Curriculum is provided free-of-charge to all interested parties, students, teachers, parents or other. It is intended to present 10+ real-world problems in pneumatic fluid power automation (More info).

The complete printed curriculum including solutions will be made available through the component suppliers or directly from FPEF. If you require solutions, please send your request on School or Company letterhead indicating your name, complete address, phone, fax and e-mail, as well as the intended use of the Curriculum and the grade level if applicable. Please send your request to Curriculum 2 Solutions c/o FPEF at the address at the bottom of the page.

In all cases a small air compressor able to supply 40 - 80 psig of clean dry air is required but is not included.

  • The components may be acquired in several ways

    • As a complete "Board" with all other components, fittings, tubing and accessories pre-mounted. - See Example  See Boards in Use at Teacher Workshop

    • As a kit of loose components that includes the valves, cylinders, fittings, tubing, mounting accessories, etc. as well as a template for mounting on your own board.

    • Individual components that you may already have or that you can get from fluid power distributors, manufacturers or users. This option should only be chosen if the teacher or other involved party is familiar with pneumatics and the components involved.

  • The curriculum contained on this site may be acquired in the following formats:

    • As individual WEB pages

    • As individual MS Word® files

    • As individual Adobe Acrobat® .pdf files

    • As a ZIP file containing all the MS Word® documents along with the Foreword and Introduction

    • As a complete Adobe Acrobat® .pdf document
