Science News for Kids

Science News for Kids was launched in 2003 by Society for Science and the Public (SSP) as a youth edition and companion to the Society’s Science News magazine. The Society is a nonprofit membership organization based in Washington, DC. Founded in 1921, and first known as Science Service, the Society advances the popular understanding of science through publications and educational competitions and programs. The Society offers the SSP Fellowship for teachers as well.
