New Joint FPEF/FPS Certification
Program
for Key College and High School Students |

At our fall meeting in Toledo, the Board
of Trustees unanimously voted to support Fluid Power Society Certifications for
students in the Key Colleges and High Schools. Here's how it will work:
 |
Students must belong to a Student
Chapter of FPS. |
 |
Each Key College and High School with
associated Student Chapters can apply for 10 vouchers per year. |
 |
The FPEF will fund those vouchers. |
 |
Eligible students will be selected by
the of Key Professor and can apply for any one of the Certification Tests
(Except Fluid Power Engineer for which there are other requirements) and
submit the vouchers with the application. |
Here are the benefits:
 |
Adds another reason to want the Key
School designation. |
 |
Adds another reason to take fluid
power courses |
 |
Strengthens the idea of Student
Chapters. |
 |
Improves the Resume of the Certified
students |
 |
Gives prospective employers a better
trained and prepared employee |
