Key High School Voucher Scholarship Program The Fluid Power Educational Foundation has initiated a plan to designate deserving high schools as Key High Schools. There will be funds made available for scholarships for graduating seniors who have successfully completed two years of courses in a systems engineering, engineering technology or robotics program. These courses are to include hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical power transmission and control.

scholarship may be used
Requirements to
qualify for a scholarship · The applicant must be enrolled, at the post secondary school, as a full-time student (as determined by the institution) · The applicant must be graduating from high school with a “B,” or 3 on a 4 point scale overall grade point average. · The applicant must submit a 250 word essay in which he/she will explain why they have enrolled in their degree program and what work-related avenues they expect to pursue after completion of the program. · The applicant must submit two letters of recommendation from science, math or technology instructors from classes the applicant has attended. DISBURSEMENT OF SHOLARSHIP FUNDS · A scholarship certificate will be issued to the selected applicant for the amount of scholarship awarded. · The certificate will be redeemable upon the Foundation receiving an official document from the post-secondary institution indicating enrollment in an Engineering or Engineering Technology related program. · Admission must be made within twelve (12) months after high school graduation. The FPEF Board of Trustees makes the final decision on scholarship recipients. This decision is final. |
