FPEF continues FIRST Robotics
Competition Scholarship
and will exhibit at FIRST Championships
FPEF is
continuing Scholarships for high school seniors
participating in the 2011 FIRST Robotics Competition! The
Scholarships are aimed at assisting seniors, who have been
exposed to fluid power concepts by using pneumatics in the
construction of their FIRST robots, in paying for their
education expenses if enrolled at one of the
FPEF Key Schools. For high school students who may be
eligible, details, qualifications, and application forms can be
found here:
http://www.usfirst.org/scholarshipsearch.aspx (listed in
alphabetical order, under “Fluid Power Educational Foundation.”)
FPEF
paricipates in the FIRST Robotics Competition
“Supplier Summit” at the Robotics Championships event in Atlanta
in April. We’ll have a table to display information about
careers in Fluid Power, and will share our Key School and fluid
power curriculum information with students, parents, team
mentors and other visitors.
